37th Annual “Lite the Nite” Car Show

“Lite the Nite” Ohio’s premier car show returns to Newark’s Downtown Square on Saturday, September 10th. This is the 37th annual “Lite the Nite Car Show.” The Newark Rodders Car Club anticipates some 600 vehicles including antiques, vintage, street rods, classics, motorcycles, and specialty cars, are expected on Newark’s Courthouse Square and immediate side streets on September 10th. Car enthusiasts should enter the area from east main to the square. Registration is from 10:00am till 4:00pm on that Saturday at the East side courthouse steps area. The registration remains $10.00 per entry.

Awards and trophies will be presented around 6:00pm on the Southeast side of the Licking County Courthouse and door prizes will be awarded throughout the day! Commemorative 37th annual “Lite the Nite” Tee-shirts will be offered for sale. Proceeds from the “Lite the Nite” Car Show support the annual Christmas Lighting of the Licking County Courthouse on the Friday night after Thanksgiving.

This 2022 “Lite the Nite” Car Show is being organized by the Matheny Family and the members of the Newark Rodders Car Club. In addition, this is a Sip and Stroll event!
